Nearly back in action! Sorry for the brief interlude - it's been a huge hassle on this end. Hopefully things will be sorted by the end of the day or by tomorrow!

One of the great things about having inks and cardstock and printed papers that all match AND stamp images that coordinate with the printed paper is that it doesn't take much to create a beautiful project that looks "just right".
This is a simple design - one stamp in one colour on a single sheet of Designer Series Paper:
I put the so yummy Chocolate Chip Supernova Glitter on the flowers to make them pop a bit more. There is also just a dash of Dazzling Diamonds on the stamped image.
This was then put on an inexpensive notebook - easily found at a $2 shop or similar. I have three daughters, as many of you know, and a notebook is always a hit. And I am a listmaker, so I use lots of these myself. And somehow, it's just so much more fun to write in something beautiful!

I sent my childhood friend and best friend, Melinda Leavitt, a big box of stamps and supplies for Christmas. She was so kind as to make up a few things and share some pictures with me.
I've known her since birth, literally, and I know this girl hates to colour in and loves stamps that are compatable with punches. So I sent her punched posies and she made up these cute little card sets:

I love the Presto Patterns papers! Just take a look at this stunning background:
I taught this last weekend at our Demonstrators Stamp Camp - they loved it. Many used different papers from the Presto Patterns DSP and some re-organized the elements. All looked fantastic in the end!
The sentiment is stamped on acetate with White Staz-On - a very cool effect that I don't pull out often enough!

Yesterday we had to say goodbye and return home to real life.
It was fun, it was was inspiring and it was rejeuvenating!
Sunday morning's class was taught by Vicky-Lee Meuller, a beautiful Tri-Shutter Album that had about a million pieces.
Hmm well I did have three pics of her teaching, but I'll be darned if I know where they went. Not on the camera and not on the computer. Check out her blog to see her pretty face.
One of the projects that I taught is this sweet little Valentine that was shown to us in Hamilton Island:
It's quick, easy, and effective. That Love Defined set is sooooo cute!
And the really fun thing about this one is there are treat included! I intend to give these to my girls - everyone loves to get a little treat.
I had those converstation hearts for the ladies to put in instead of these round whatevers that the USA girls brough over for us. Okay, some of them were a bit x-rated, but they were good for a laugh.
You know what? We should have given one of these to the cook at the camp . . . we might have gotten more than the extra scones! ha ha ha girls!!

Yesterday and today have been full-on fantastic!
Welcome to Stamp Camp 2011 for my team of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators! We are here in Rotorua for a few days. Always stressful leading up, and always a really fun time when we're all together. It's good to be reminded again what a great job I have and what wonderful people are in my life. Everytime we get together, we all have sore abs from laughing to much!
Friday night we had a great class with Rachael Knight. Some of the ladies came in jammies and special hair-do's.
Today was a very full day with back to back classes and loads of food. We were all quite excited to have THE Paula Dobson teach us at the beginning of our day a very cool project using some new sponging techniques with new products:
And it is Sally Williams' birthday this weekend, so we had to have cake in her honour:
Then I taught a class and then we did some business training in the afternoon - it went well and they were all attentive and studious, thank you very much ladies!
We also gave the team a little Creative Challenge . . . Delys gave them three sheets of cardstock and they were to come up with a project in 20 minutes using any supplies they brought with and any SaleABration set. I think we were all super impressed with what we made in literally 20 minutes! Which one is your favourite?
And our last class of the day was with the talented Delys Cram - showing us brayering and a stunning 12x12 layout:
We've all been laughing and smiling even though most of us didn't get much sleep last night:

Anna Mathieson made me this lovely thank you gift - such an unexpected gift, which are often the very best kind. She put some lovely little bath things inside:
And this is Bron Heslop and myself. Such a pleasure to know a girl like Bron! A laugh a minute this girl! okay not a hot picture of either of us . . .
It's been a good day. I think we're all a bit shattered with all the laughs and concentration and excitement.
One more class tomorrow - looking forward to one more injection of inspiration from my team!
