Thank you, Kaye, for my beautiful card! This one has been sitting on my desk for all these months and I am just now putting it up!!
Kaye made me this for the stamp camp/birthday time - such a sweet lady and a beautiful creation:
Kay has also used the French Foliage set for the splatters and the background words - beautiful combing of stamp sets! I don't often think to do that myself.
A touch of the Gold Smooch Spritz makes this really shimmer.
I love the brown ink over the green butterfly - a unique and interesting mix of colour there.
Thank you Kaye!
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Artistic Etchings, French Foliage
Colours: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Certainly Celery
Other: Basic Rhinestones, Satin Ribbon, Gold Smooch Spritz

Yesterday was a fantastic day at the Auckland Extravaganza! We had a mix up with the venue, but it worked out okay, and the ladies were patient and understanding. I do thank you all for that - and for helping make the day fun and run smoothly.
I presented the extended candy wrapper project - showing how to make the die extend to 3 times the original length. It's perfect for the candy bars! And easy peasy as a gift - simple enough to pick up a chocolate bar.
We had fun making these - even my little helper Sofie made a couple out of scraps and leftover bits and pieces. Just to eat the chocolate bar inside, I'm sure. :)
The papers are the SaleABration set Everyday Enchantment - there's not a print in this one I don't love. The stamped flowers bit is from the Fresh Vintage set, also one you can get for free.
All these are for the teachers who taught yesterday. Don't they look lovely as a set?
Book your workshop or place your order before March 31st to get your free SaleAbration treats!
Supplies used:
Stamps: Fresh Vintage (SAB), You are Loved (summer mini)
Colours: Poppy Parade, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Peach Parfait, Calypso Coral, Soft Suede
Other: Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Designer Label Punch, SAB ribbon, Beautiful Wings Embosslits, Basic Pearls

I stole this embellishment off a fun gift that was given to me at last year's Stamp Camp!
I've had this in my drawer all year long - too pretty to toss away!
I believe this was the topper to a bag of lollies. Well, whoever was the sweet lady who made this - it's now been recycled and loved again.
I made this quickie up for Rob's boss, who lent us his golf clubs last week.
I put a Moro bar inside, which is the last thing he needs, but it's the thought. It's nice to say thank you, especially when it's unexpected.

Even if not for Valentine's Day, isn't it wonderful to do something for those we love for no reason at all? Friends, siblings, coworkers, family - who doesn't smile to receive a token of love and appreciation?
Last night we made some little candy wrappers using the new Candy Wrapper die for the men in our lives. We got out good old Chocolate Chip and Real Red - always a winning combination.
The words are from the OUtlined Ocassions set - one of the lovely SaleABration sets you can earn for FREE!
The first one I did I used Very Vanilla, which is nice, but I wanted to use the new Baker's Twine, which is white . .. so did another one:
Used the new red Glitter Paper too and made this one extra wow. LOVE that stuff! The baker's twine is around the ends of the wrapper, just a little detail, but not too girly.
Now, what do to with these today? I have two special men in my life here (Rob and his son, Bayley), but I have the day lined out with treats all along the way. So I think I will give these Hershey's kisses to Rob's single father, Murry.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Outlined Ocassions, Confetti
Colours: Chocolate Chip, Real Red
Other: Candy Wrapper Die, Bakers Twine, Designer Label PUnch, Red Glitter Paper, Wide Oval Punch, Hershey's Kisses

Wow do I LOVE these new printed papers!!! It was an absolute pleasure to design this one up . . . partly because I love the colours and prints and partly because I love the subject.
Okay the photos don't do this justice, as per usual, really. I would have never thought to put Poppy Parade with Pool Party, but I do like it.
These photos are from a fun "photo shoot" we did in October with the family. Rob preferred some other photos of us, but these ones matched the papers perfectly. Sorry, Darling. Next time.
The journaling on this one is a text Rob sent me in August. It was one of the many, many, may lovely, sweet texts he's sent me over the last year.
The stamps and embellishments are all from the SaleABration promotion and of course, all designed to work perfectly together.
Three simple heart punches make up the main embellishments of the photos here. Easy! Just a few odds and ends to make the middle heart a bit special and to add a title. Titles don't have to be big - just meaningful.
I love you, Robert. Thank you for being an inspiration.
xx

These Simply Adorned Charms in the Summer Mini are lovely!
I made this lovely piece of jewellery in Fiji - and what a treat to get to make and keep one of these babies!!
Several of my customers made these as Christmas gifts, and they turned out gorgeous. The pendants are quite heavy; they are a high quality and substantial gift.
This one was made with the Spiced Paisley set and a whole lot of pearls. I've worn in quite a bit - the colours are nice to wear with lots.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Spiced Paisley set of seven $37.95, Fabulous Phrases
Colours: Soft Suede, Pool Party, More Mustard
Other: Basic Pearls, Simply Adorned Charms, Simply Adorned Baubles, Simply Adorned Chain

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of attending a wedding, and look forward to another one next month. That was my first NZ wedding, so it was a real treat! Being wedding season, and given the new, beautiful wedding stamp set in the Summer Mini, I thought designing wedding project would be perfect for my first class of 2012.
I struggled with the colours of this one for a while, then just went back to the classic Black & White with a touch of silver. LOVE the new glimmer paper!! Just a little bit adds a real wow - so one pack of this product will go a very long long way.
Girls, I added that embossing after the class as I felt it just needed one more thing. LIke it? It's a bit better, I think.
Any questions, orders, or to book into a class, please contact me!
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Marry Me set of six $42.95
Other: Glimmer Paper silver, Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, Oval Frame Embossing Folder, White Satin Ribbon, Scallop Ribbon Border Punch

I think the Spice Cake product suite is perhaps my favourite suite ever. So far. Subject to change with the next mini catalogue . . . :)
While in Fiji, we were lucky to get to play around with this suite a few months early - and it was love at first sight. I would have never put More Mustard with Pool Party, but it works:
Well I just had to order the Triple Treat Flower stamp after this one. It works perfectly with the set and the images in the papers. So even if you are not into paisleys, you can still get the spicy papers and the Triple Treat Flower and you're away laughing.
I stole this neat idea for an altered milk carton box I did before Christmas - looping the linen thread around under the flower. I like it. This may turn up on a scrapbook page next week - February 9th Scrapbooking Class in Bucklands Beach.
Any queries or to place an order, find me here!
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Spiced Paisley set of seven $37.95, Triple Treat Flower $19.95, Fabulous Phrases
Colours: Pool Party, Old Olive, Soft Suede
Other: Fancy Flower Punch, Spice Cake DSP, Basic Pearls, Linen Thread, Blender Pens

As many of you know, I went to Perth during the holidays - and one of the reasons for going was to visit my good friend, Tui. You may remember her from the early days of Stampin' Up! in New Zealand? She was by my side always or else watching my kids while I was out teaching.
It was lovely to catch up with her again. The photos we took of her and there were all blurry, but here is one from Melbourne:
She wrote me a lovely card while we were there, using supplies from when she was here taking classes at my house. Although retired product, still very, very beautiful, of course:
I really like that I got a big "love" across the front. Isn't it wonderful to have friends?
Thank you, Tui, for making me beautiful art and for the beautiful words inside.

Ah yes it was more than time for my annual clean-out of my craft room. Between my Stampin' Up! supplies and sewing school . . . it was yet again an abomination.
And I've even spilled out into the garage:
Well . . . it is hard to be creative in such a mess. And every year I promise it will never get that bad again. Alas ~
But a couple of days sorting and cleaning and throwing out, we are back again in a happy place:
I didn't get to every single drawer this year, but did most of them - the ones I use anyway.
and spluged and got one of those manequins I've been wanting my whole life:
Sooo much easier to live in!! Designing our next Auckland Extravaganza project this weekend! Book in your place asap to assure a spot.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
I've been quiet the last week or so because I have been heads down preparing trainings and gifts for my team for yesterday's breakfast.
Being a seamstress for many many years, I wanted to utilize those skills this year now that Stampin' Up! offers fabric AND die cuts! I had some ideas in my head of what to make for my lovely ladies, and started with making hanging craft bags:
AFter making 26 of these . . . .we decided to do the remaining gifts something else!! So we started making stockings!
We made up a selection and my friend Janine had the great idea of putting them on this trolley:
Excuse the very very messy craft room . . . the entire house looks something like that at the moment. I'll have to do a serious shovel out again this year.
Many many thanks to Janine Pearce and my daughter, Madeleine, for helping me get this project done in time.
Sofie and cat Custard later played the rest of the day with the trolley - they were playing shopkeeper and bus driver.
Another aspect to our party was my official invitation to Rob on the Incentive Trip next year to Broome!! We had lots of fun on the team forum coming up with fun ideas for inviting him. In the end Madeleine set up a treasure hunt around the house, ending with a card inviting him.

Thank you, Robert, for a fabulous day fishing!
And thank you, Stampin' Up!, for a fabulous new nautical range!
I started out with the idea of using the new Open Sea stamp set and doing a real vintage layout, but the photos just didn't flow with it. It's great out layouts evolve as the emotions behind the photos come to play. And the look of the photos themselves too.
So, I found some different ways to add texture other than inking and sponging. We've using sanding blocks on some of the edges here as well as added the new Baker's Twine and roughed up other edges.
Do you recognize where the inspiration for these tags came from? I had to change it up a bit to fit the layout and the punches I had. The cool thing, too, is each person in the class could change these up to fit their colour choices and preferences. I loved seeing each one come out with a slightly different personality.
We also used every single stamp in the set, which to me signals great value and versatility. Not only that, but it is masculine-appropriate! (and doing the guy-oriented stuff is growing on me these days . . . )
The two stamps from Fabulous Phrases here stamped directly onto the photo is the whole of my title for this page. It's small and subtle, but I like it. And perfect for the photo here of Robert putting the slimy bait on for me.
And also, just wanted to show that yes, you can stamp direclty onto your photos! It's a great look.
Next scrapbooking class is Thursday February 9th and we will do a love-themed page, suited for anniversaries or parent/child photos or any photos really of someone you love. Might even be able to sneak in a few flowers or something on that one. LOL
Thanks for looking! Please contact me with any queries or orders!
Supplies Used:

Colours: Cherry Cobbler, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, Basic Grey, Early Espresso
Other: Bakers Twine, Vintage Brads, 1" Square Punch, Neutrals Buttons, Hemp Twine, Large Tag Punch, Regals Brads, 3/4 inch circle Punch, Heart to Heart Punch
