And that Person is You.
So the stamp goes in the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set. And it's perfect for this little layout.
This is my swap for today's team training (Thanks Ladies for a fun morning!) and also my submission to the Just Add Ink challenge this week. It took me a while to figure out how to add "dimension" to a layout, so here are my thoughts:
1. The butterflies are two layered and 3D, as you can see. Plus the ink layers of the solid colours and the Chocolate Chip detail adds visual dimension. And the LOTS of glitter Sofie put on them adds some texture too. LOL. (but I was most happy for her help last night).
2. The beautiful, big Chocolate Chip Double Stitched ribbon adds both texture and dimension.
3. The button and the "thread" running through it add dimension and some different surface area. The thread is actually a thin strip of cardstock tied into a knot - thanks to Marelle Taylor for this tip. Just don't pull it too tight. :)
4. My favourite feature of this little layout is that I made it into a pocket and made a giant tag to slide in. I've put my journaling here and a bit more stamping.
But the best part of this little 6x6 layout is the memory of that little two year old and the precious look on her face here. I love her so much.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly set of ten $63.95
Colours: Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip
Other: Bella Rose DSP, Scallop Square punch, Horizontal Slot Punch, Sherbet Buttons, Butterfly Punch, various ribbon, Linen Thread

This layout, like your little girl, is totally adorable. Love the colour combo you used and the gorgeous butterflies down the side.

Thanks, carole! It was a bit of a brainwave that night. I
like the idea too because the 6x6 pages dont leave much space for journaling.
Plus then I can hide my handwriting! LOL
