Gingerbread Sand Art - Recipe in a Jar

 
Last Wednesday we had our annual Christmas gifts class, and one of the projects was this very cute Gingerbread Cookie Recipe in a Jar:

Gee, it looks like I cut that ribbon with a butter knife.  (I'm pretty sure I didn't; my guess is the girls were playing with it and frayed it up a bit).

The idea here is that this is the dry ingredients to a cookie recipe layered up like sand art.  The instructions include adding the wet items.  Makes for a really quick treat for the recipient and an adorable presentation.

Love that little gingerbread man.
