Thanks for visiting the Creative Inker's Christmas Blog Hop! If you've just started, enjoy the journey! If you've come to me from Sharon de Vos - welcome!
The front of the project I want to share with you is a CASE from the talented Kimberly Van Diepen. However, I've added a pop up element to it.
I love all the little layers and interesting elements on this one.
I watercoloured the houses in using the aquapainters and the ink pds - easy! I left some white space intentionally for a more whimsical look.
Inside the card - surprise! A fun and easy pop up element delights. I've added three more houses and a tree here and a simple sentiment.
This is the most simple pop up style I've seen thus far - you need the Word Window Punch. Simply fold your insert in half and punch two slots either side.
The side creases go backwards and the middle one needs to go forward and done!
I hope you've enjoyed!
Please continue on your journey to the talented Delys Cram!

I love those colours and that stamp set. The surprise inside just tops it all off and what an easy way to do it. Thanks for sharing Jacque.

I LOVE your card. This is so cool. I think one of the first cards I made at an Extravaganza had this pop up inside :)

I have so many ideas for this bundle set but need the time to put them together, now you have given me yet another idea. The pop up technique used is the very first one I ever learnt to do. Now with my zing cutter making things easy it will be nice to get back to basic simplicity. thanks for the reminder that this style of pop up doesn't use electricity - so even with out power we can make incredible pop up cards.
