Welcome to a new week and another Creative Inker's Blog Hop! You may have come to me from Bernie Collins' blog - welcome!
I'd like to share with you an "add on" to a blog post I shared last week. It was part of a larger project: revamping my step-son's bedroom! Let's just say we used to call it the dungeon. :) The room is now a teenager hang-out:
Was a lot of repairing holes, painting, scrubbing . . . .
(I am in the process of sewing up a proper slipcover . . . )
My dear husband hand made those cool "box" shelves for us. On the Caribbean Cruise last year, Stampin' Up! had some covered books on shelves on display, so I took that idea and used it here.
Instead of books, I used just some 10 cent notebooks. A couple of them I glued two together for a thicker "book".
You can see the first one here, posted last week.
I used the Adventure Awaits stamp set for all five notebooks. I actually really like this word set; the sayings are quite good and the design fun. Great for masculine projects and scrapbooking titles, too!
And I have just fallen in love with the fact one can design these little home decor items to match the decor perfectly!
Thanks for stopping by!

WOW!!!! That room makeover is to die for .. Wonder if it stays as tidy as it is in the pic like us crafters always a clutter moment, but then it is so fresh I would be too scared to clutter it up. :-) I like your stamping and bok cover ideas ... now to go buy some of them thar books :-)
