Welcome to another Creative Inkers Team Blog Hop! You may have come to me from the happy Bernie Collins' blog - thank you! I have the honour of "working" with a group of talented ladies who love to come together and enjoy each other's company and creations. Tonight we'd like to share with you projects from the SaleABration Catalogue.
I am not one to start with a blank canvas, and used the Around the World Sketch as inspiration:
I used the new Lotus Blossom stamp set - a gorgeous triple-step stamp set you can get for FREE with any $110 order from your demonstrator.
Here I've used it with Perfect Plum and Blackberry Bliss inks. I found that the longer I let the ink sit and dry, the better and better the image looked.
I pulled the new Cotton Twine apart and paired just a few strands of it with the LInen Thread for a softer look.
Thanks for stopping by and come back next Monday night for the Occasions Catalogue Blog Hop!
Next, check out what the talented Rachael Knight has created for you!

The colours look great together here. I like the embossed background too. It makes the image stand out. Did you use watercolour paper as your base?

Very pretty, Jacque! That DSP makes a gorgeous subtle background. I love how so many of us have used the Lotus Blossom stamps and in different colour combos, it looks great whatever colours it's stamped in. The twine does look great as a thinner strand, I must try that. And it will go further that way, too!

Nice :) Perfect Plum and Blackberry Bliss look so good together - it really 'pops' off the page. Lovely
