I challenged myself to use the Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper and the Artisan Kit to create a timeless, "clean vintage" layout. This one is yet another one of my girls when they were bridesmaids . . . the fact is: those photos in those colours work in so well with many of the Stampin' Up! colours! Lucky that.
The papers are the Something Borrowed series, a lovely set of all Sahara Sand prints. I created that background shape using the Simply Scored Border Plate - a nice effect.
I LOVE how this flower turned out! Using only the Pansy Punch, I've crinkled it up in my hand, inked the edges and layered them together. That gorgeous embellishment in the centre is also from the Something Borrowed series. ($14.50 for 12)
Those yummy ribbon roses are from the Artisan kit, along with the velvet ribbon, too.
And that resist paper above is one of the many FREE SaleABration offerings - order now before March 31 when they disappear!! Shopping list below:
Enjoy your weekend! I'm off to Nelson in the morning to spend the day crafting with the ladies there!
